As a Family Practice Physician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, with a focus on preventive medicine and the management of chronic health conditions.
Responsibilities:
-Providing high-quality primary care services to patients of all ages, including conducting physical exams, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, and managing preventive care-Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients, including medication management and lifestyle modifications-Providing ongoing care for patients with chronic health conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma-Counselling patients on disease prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, and other health-related issues-Referring patients to specialists as needed for further evaluation and treatment-Documenting patient care in electronic medical records in a timely and accurate manner-Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction-Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff-Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards
Qualifications:
-Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine-Residency training in family medicine or a related field-Board certification in family medicine or eligible for certification-Active medical license in the state of practice-Clean medical malpractice record-Active and current DEA number and state-controlled substance certificate-Experience providing primary care services in an outpatient setting-Strong clinical skills, including the ability to diagnose and manage a wide range of medical conditions-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues-Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other clinical software applications-Demonstrated commitment to providing patient-centered care and delivering high-quality services-Leadership experience or potential, with a strong desire to take on additional responsibilities within the practiceSalary and
